This is a fairly common theme around Vets in general and AA soldiers in particular. It wasn't until my father was in his 60s over a bowls of ice cream that he told me certain stories about WW2 and the role we played in securing the victory and I'm a vet myself(LOL)..I do think they talk to each other when the opportunity presented itself

Wow, forgotten history all my life. I never heard of the original Black Panther that they were even black Tank operators normally thank God for the Internet so it makes him be out most the time the veterans don’t want to talk about the experience and they need to be celebrated for the carriage.💯☺️

Eric is incorrect, they were the first but not the only. The 784th also saw combat.
