Great technique! I just learned something I can bring back to my sales team. The But flip and tie it down with "because" This is being a smooth closer! Thank you!

I always believed these methods were effective but have not had the chance to hear an explanation. Thank you! P.s. I have used once the magic word *because* to get in front of queues only for the reason that I had one item. :)

I believe my left ear has been neglected, though it deserves equally to listen to your magnificent accent as compare to the right. It's the only thing I ballieve, could have been rectified! BUT I enjoyed the video BECAUSE you make sense with your BUT FLIP.
I've seen dozens of NLP videos with same rehashed info. This is however some good, simple but effective stuff. Hope you have more...

I am currently in college studying film and learning persuasive language will not only help with my journey in landing a job, my resume, or pitching a script. It will also help me to believe in myself and build confidence within me by the way I speak.

Technically for the But Flip to work, you have to put the negative comment 1st then after the but add on the positive comment/feedback.

*A STEP UP: help someone motivate themselves, by turning the word **_"because"_** in to a question.* "So you don't know how to do it but you really want to, _becaussssssse?"_ (Raise eyebrows & maintain an inquisitive expression) Then the Subject will offer what motivates them, their "why", they will share _their_ "because".

Thank you. & thank you for sharing this valuable video. If only more people had this type of instruction as part of there basic education. Consider going to my channel & watch my playlist title "JEDI". It includes almost 60 videos of persuasion, reading body language & facial expressions, NLP, Ericksonian techniques & much more. Thanks again!

IN NLP, the "the map is not the territory", meaning that each one of us have its own representation of reality. However, you seem to assume that everybody interprets words/language the same way, (and thus assuming you can persuading differnt people with the same words) , which is kind of contradictory, don't you think? Could you please elaborate more on that? Thanks,
@VickyRoss9 жыл бұрын
+João Silva - Thank you for your message. No, I don't for one moment think that everybody interprets words/language the same way, however there are some systems within us that work in the same way within the content that we have. So system may be the same, however content makes it different. / On is process which is objective and content subjective. and put together makes a unique message to each person. So to persuade, you need to know what is the process and then use their words within the process to make a compelling and persuasive statement to help them come to a decision that is best for them. Make sure that intention is in the right place - for the best of the client.
