Peru 2000 Party Song : El ritmo del Chino

"El ritmo del Chino", a veces llamado "El baile del Chino", es una canción de tecnocumbia creada para la campaña política de las elecciones del 2000 del presidente y candidato a la reelección peruano Alberto Fujimori, quien es apodado cariñosamente El Chino ("el chino") ya que es de ascendencia asiática (japonesa). La canción fue creada por la periodista Mónica Zevallos y Carlos Raffo, director de la campaña del fujimorismo, y es interpretada por Ana Kohler, quien en ese momento era una de las exponentes más representativas del género tecnocumbia, muy en boga en el Perú de fines de siglo. la década de 1990 Según un reporte de la revista Caretas, la canción estaría escrita por Eder Santiago o Kevin Borda. Realmente los Peruanos cometimos el gravisimo error de no defender al Salvador del Perú. Y permitir que los terrocomumistas desde los caviares hasta los terroristas y los corruptos derrotados por fujimori lo metieran preso y siguieran saqueando al país. Pero se acabó; ante tanta corrupción y delincuencia que cuenta con el apoyo de los medios de comunicación y sus sicarios ; los peruanos estamos reaccionando y no permitiremos que esto continue. In Peru, and most of hispanic america, we use the word "chino" meaning chinese as an affectionate way to call any asian no matter the true nationality. Not a pejorative term.
