Usually I bake my condensed milk to make a caramel is your method better !! I want to try it with evaporated milk and cooking on the stove top ❤which is better ❤

It’s because it’s made out of maicena, you might want to search up a recipe with Manteca 💁🏽♀️

@@hannahbanana2366 so this is Peruvian alfajores de maicena (cornstarch) which usually taste more floury than alfajores de Manteca (lard/butter) which are more flavorful! So search up a recipe that states Manteca instead to avoid this issue!! I hope this explanation help better 👍
