Orchestra Matonge and Kombe Kombe of Coco Zigo Mike this two where zongzing a combination of stars would unite just to record and make money then each went back to his Band. Kombe Kombe atarted by Coco zigo when he came to Kenya from congo where he was a member of Orchestra Shama Shama of Mopero wamaloba him and Siama who was a bass guitarist. Coco Zigo united with Moreno this two each record on his label and name. Moreno had Orchestra one and Coco Kombe kombe of which i dont remember them performing any live concerts. Kasongo was first with Baba national of Ilunga wailunga at garden Square then joined Orchestra Bwambe Bwambe and finaly Super Mazembe which was his Band till death so Matonge was a zong zing as i said before. In the song Muselembende hit there is Atei a great saxophone player and Lawiso on the lead guitar a multiple instrument player who started with Kelly Brown then helped Samba Mapangala to form Orchestra Virunga then finally he was taken by Tabuley Rocherou. Lawiso is the brain and composer of songs like Nakei Nairobi etc. Lawiso Died in Malawi i remember his wife Caro whom they had 4 children telling me how Tabuley wested lawiso by taking credit of the songs he composed. Caro one time confronted Tabuley at New Stanley hotel telling him why did you take my husband away and caused him die in Malawi.

@@johnmutai3296 was ochestra matonge a studio outfit? I used to hear this song in 1979/80 - thats the voice of kasongo wa kanema and katele both of mazembe and i can also here lawi somana's solo. So, was this before kanema joined mazembe - because katele was with mazembe since its formative years in zambia. And what happened to the group because i never heard of them after this song neither have i heard any other song apart from this.
