“Summer Memories”
This music is just about the unforgettable memories of summer, a time associated with happiness and a pleasant occasion for a blissful getaway. To impart a sense of a circling motion to the music, this piece is written in a rondo form, with the recurring main theme set in a bright major key and the contracting themes in between both set in an obscure minor key. The merry-go-round form also imparts a carefree mood and an effect of carousel to the music.
《夏日的回憶》
夏日總是和快樂的時光聯繫在一起 - 旅遊的好時光。這首樂曲也是試圖表現這種夏日的心曠神怡的回憶。樂曲是用迴旋曲式創作，往返其中的第一主題旋律在明亮的大調中旋轉跳躍，而穿插的對比段落呈現在更温暖的小調中。樂曲的“旋轉木馬”般的迴旋進行創造了了一種無憂無慮的喜悅的心境。
“Dusk by the Fishing Boat” is an arrangement of an ancient theme from a famous music under the same title for zheng (a Chinese pluck-string instrument). With the flute and harp imitating the Chinese instruments bamboo flute and zheng, the music depicts a beautiful evening scene seen from the fishing boat on the lake.
樂曲《漁舟唱晚》根據同名古箏曲的旋律改編。樂曲表現夕陽西下，湖光山色加之漁夫的歌聲的意境，改編者試圖用長笛與豎琴模仿蕭於古箏的效果。
