Are you sure it is 29 inch wide? Perception's site and also the paper work that came with mine all say 32.

TIYX yup..for some reason mine "was" 29".. Thats why I drove back all way to Houston.. ACK did maje it right though after I brought it back. Just one of them " weird" factory mistakes.. From what e-mail said .. But i Would buy that Pescador 100 now that they are all 32" for tge 2018 models. Just got back from fishing right now..off my Pescador Pro 100..Instagram : texascoastwanderer.. Thanks !!

@@leemp337 hey !! I believe in 2017 or 2018.. the Pescador 10.. the Pescador pro is 32”.. my pro is 32” .. 👍.. I don’t claim to be an expert by no means.. lol .. my tracking on the pro is not the greatest.. my pelican icon tracks a bit better actually.. for me at least..

I actually have a chance to buy the 29" version, as I want better performance. Has anyone compared actual measurements btween a 29 and a 32?

Terry Grier hey ! I really like the Pelican..its width is 30.5"..it at times feels a little tipsy on certain weather conditions..I'm not talking harsh weather but on windier than expected. The seat is horrible and 2 to 3 hrs can start getting unbearable.I took the Perception back because warranty paperwork read 29" width. An error on their part. I bought the perception Pescador Pro 10 which the seat is Fantastic !- it is a 10'6" and handles incredible !! My 61 year old wife used it as her 1st kayaking experience and even with her back issues gave her no problems. I plan on buying another Perception but the Red one u just saw and ACK does have the true 32" width 2018 model. But when me by myself..definetly the Perceotion !! My 2018 is 32" wide and it looks just like yours, are you sure it's not just a mistake on your paperwork? The new models should all be 32"...👍

Hey Jaeden ! That red one is the Pescador 10.. The green one I have is the Pescador Pro 10. I am seriously thinking of now buying that "Dragon Red" Pescador 10. Reasons is it has more storage capabilities for overnight kayak camping n fishing which I really want to do. Right now I've been busy working on my business plan for creating my own Fishing Clothing line. I hope in 2 weeks to get it up n going !! U will enjoy either of those 2 kayaks. Stable n not sluggish in the water. Let me know how u do ! Thanks for watching. I am also on IG with same username.

Nice. That was my choice for a sit on top. I just opted for 10 lbs lighter and got the 'Sound' sit in. Those 2 rod holders are ridiculous on all the Perceptions. I'll fit about a 15" extension pvc pipe into them, with the cutout groove for the spinning reels, and they'll sit very secure. By some Krylon spray paint to match the yak, and it will look very professional.

I took it back n bought the Pescador Pro 10. Same rod holders. I decided to use a hole saw n installed regular rid holders.works gr8 ! Have u seen that my vid in that yet ? Thanks for stopping by !! Let me know how ur new one works out !

put you a pvc pipe ( covered in inner tube tire material for security to make a better rod holder.

All websites show width as 32" .. But warranty paperwork attached to yak shows as width at 29".. So I measured and my measurements show 29" .. Hhmm..Might make a call to clear up this confusion.. I did measure at its widest width. If anyone else might have an answer please comment below.Thanks !

I just got my pescador 12 and the paperwork also said it was a 29 in width but I measured and it's 32 1/2 . It's also a 2018 model .

The #1 Volfan hey ! Yea.. Perception folks emailed me n also stated there were some issues on warranty paper measurements.As long as ur confident with what u got is all that matters sir. It is a Gr8 yak ! Handles well .. Glad to hear..can't wait to c u taking it out ! Will sub ur channel.thanks for the info !!

The #1 Volfan p.s...mine is a Pescador Pro 100..not the 120..that might b the difference.
