while i also feel p unsatisfied with all of the endings, i can't really agree that kanaya is ooc in this??? like if we look back at kanaya before meteorstuck, shes super snippy/cold towards rose and the other kids. shes condescending, overall patronizing, and p snobby with her tastes and only shows affection to those she is esp close to (karkat and vriska). it isnt until she starts empathizing more with others outside of her session does she start turning more into that Mom figure we all can recognize. shes acts most like an unrecognized sylph in this route which makes sense bc their session is now whack as fuck
