It may not help much but I do want to reiterate what another said; it’s a damn good game to watch, but playing it as anything less than pro is frustrating. I enjoy it for an hour, then realize I’ve been tense and angry for most of that hour. Plenty of cool games that don’t involve cracked out teenagers I would never have beaten at even my best.

22:38 For any new players this is actually a mistake, most rigs have more spaces inside them then space they take up so keep them if you loot a big one off a scav or something. Also make sure to keep 2 Tv-110's and 2 Blackrocks (If FIR) because their needed for a later quest.

@Xyion09 Best way to get rid of gear fear is to use everything you get because its going to do nothing but sit there taking up space. I cant think of a time were I couldnt afford a kit if you scav enough. You'll eventually learn that you can get it back even if you lose it, the more you invest in yourself/kit you'll find yourself surviving more and more. Also dont take fights if they are not in your favour, just take it slow. Good luck with the raids

Also depending on what im doing will depend on what kit/gun ill use. If its a quest like bronze pocket watch I just bring a cheap kit and gun but use the best ammo i can so i can also kill pmc's. If i lose it no biggie ill prob get it back in insurance.

hey man i also have gear fear i wanted to ask if you have eod, because on my second profile which is standart edition my stash is so small that i literally have to use the gear i have and its mostly good stuff and that sort of pushes me to use the best gear i have, but when i return to my eod account i have the space to store away my good meta guns and ammo so i choose to use cheaper/worse gear

When you heal with money after raid, it does not level your health skill

4:38 good to know they reduce hydration, was just playing and I got shot in the stomach, pretty much knew I was going to die but I noticed my food and hydration going down rapidly, took about 2 of they tablets and a few moments later I was in the main menu.

I appreciate this being done on a standard account. I'm not sure if this is the case with the other seasons, since I was such a noob I didn't even know the differences. Stuff like stash space and container room is impacting, albeit in a subtle way. Coming back to Tarkov after a year long break and never having felt comfortable with the game, I'm really starting to enjoy playing it now. It'll be interesting seeing this series from the perspective of a low level intermediate.

If you didn’t know, you can cntl click to transfer something to your most relevant inventory section(example: bullets, mags, grenades will prioritize to your rig, or pockets before bags, food and tools go in bags, rigs, pockets) the other useful key combo is Alt left click, it equips the item you click on if you have a free slot

Such a gr8 guide, I like how you did it all on a standard acc. I played for the first time all of last wipe on a standard acc & it was rough for awhile with the alpha container until eventually getting peacekeeper LL2 & bartering for beta container. Just started my second account as used this wipe and wanted to bring up the fact that you can mod out the M4 a bit with items from peacekeeper at level 1. The aim point micro with the riser and the mount cost a little over 300 USD and it puts the reticle in line with the front irons. I personally run this instead of raw irons because the dot helps me focus where I'm aiming but the big thing you can do even if you prefer the irons without a dot is to put on the handguard from PK I believe it's the KAC handguard. It gives you rails for a light and a foregrip.

The man does more in one raid then I do in ten. Solid advice about just focusing on getting out. Lighthouse is my go to for surviving can stick to map edges and get the stashes on the way with minimal pvp
