Pesto alla Trapanese is a Sicilian pesto sauce made with tomatoes, almonds, basil, garlic, and olive oil.
Different from the more familiar green pesto, it has all the flavors of pesto yet unique as its own flavors and absolutely delicious!
📝👇 What You'll Need:
800g cherry tomatoes
140g almonds, toasted
20g buah keras (Candlenut)
4 garlic cloves
1 small bunch fresh basil
120g Parmesan cheese, grate
120ml extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
500g pasta of your choice
Serves approximately 8 portions.
