Tbh when i first gave veggies to my bird she loved it and her favorite food is lettuce right now. At this point i like to use lettuce as a treat and i also give it to her regularly as well as other good veggies.

I remember when i was younger i had a bird and she loved taking had baths at the sink. i only had her wor like 2 years because i had to move for very important reasons and i hope everyone knows budgies cant go on planes. My dad gave my bird to a friend and he took good care of her until she flew away because she learned how to open the cage door, and while i had her it was really funny and pretty useful. My dads friend acidentally left the door open and the bird opened the cage so she flew away. After that i could never see her again, and whats worse is thats the second pet that ive had that ran away. Luckily, none of my pets have died infront of me. But ive had two pets run away and since i had to move i had to give away another pet but i dont know how he is doing since my family isnt in contact with them.

Hey nugget! Have you ever heard from anyone with a tamed cactus wren? My cactus wren loves me, but we just obtained a rescue budgie, and it bites. It's terrified of hands. It doesn't eat fruits or veggies. It will eat millet spray or stand on a perch in my hand, but eventually goes after the fingers....

The budgie came with a tiny cage, we just got it a bigger one, and now the cactus wren is jealous... I think the budgie wants to be friends, but I'm pretty sure the cactus wren thinks it's a human.

For the veggies and fruits when i got them there was no food in their cage that was from the pet store so when i got them I saw they were hungry they were my 8 and 9th budgie so I got them some coriander and they began to eat it since from the pet shore to home was a 1 hour road so I gave some and now that eat any green veggies and even put some in the water I think my birds are chefs they put their veggies, poop, paper and feathers 😂😂😂
