I agree. My cat, Moneypenny, who passed at 18, and my dog, Cody at 13, were always there for me in sickness and health through richer and poorer, a divorce, my kids leaving home and so many other things. It's been 5 years since Cody passed and 7 since Moneypenny and I still really miss them. It did get easier in the sense that you eventually create a new life without them even though you don't want to, but you never really fill that hole in your heart all the way that was left when they're gone. I have since adopted 2 other cats and they help with the emptiness and bring me joy but they will never replace Cody and Moneypenny.😢❤

@18catsunedited thank you and same to you. My daughter's cat, Charlotte, just passed at 15. She has 2 dogs, one is 15 and the other 16 so I'm thinking next year might be a bad one for her :-(

I find Cat loss and grief depends on how you as an owner did everything for the cat that you could possibly do. If a cat dies because of a lack of responsibility on your art your grief will be much harder. Grief also can happen if you lose an animal because you go to jail or something else happens. I have went homeless not giving up on one of my seven cats. We found a home because of them being so sociable and falling upon cat loving apartment owner. Also I believe that we are born attached to an animal spirit that is dispersed throughout the animals in your life., I am happy I found your channel i do not feel like a nut anymore.

You are 💯 right about grief being dependent in the situation. I'm glad you found housing with your babies and I'm grateful to have you here with us. 🩷🐈
