As we celebrate Durga Pujo in 2024, the atmosphere in Bengal is tinged with a somber reflection on the events of the year. This year’s Pet Pujo Song delves deeper, inviting us to introspect on the challenges Bengal is facing
In such times, food and tradition take on a new meaning, reminding us of resilience and the strength we find in cultural celebrations. And in keeping with the prevailing mood, this year’s PET PUJO SONG will be a celebration of simplicity, focusing on one of the most comforting and beloved dishes of Durga Pujo Bhog - LABRA. Through this Recipe Song, we’ll explore how food has always been a way to bring people together, especially when times are tough.

🥘 SERVING SUGGESTIONS 👇 :
○ LABRA is best served hot alongside Bhoger Khichuri as part of the Durga Pujo Bhog. Its earthy, rich flavors make it the perfect accompaniment to the spiced rice and lentils, creating a well-balanced and comforting meal.
○ Serve LABRA as part of a traditional Durga Pujo Bhog plate, along with Bhoger Khichuri, Beguni (crispy fried aubergine slices), and Tomato Chutney.
○ LABRA can also be enjoyed with steamed rice or chapati for a simple, homely meal that’s full of flavor.
