I have lupus and get scans often and I still get nervous leading up to them , relieved when I get them done and then nervous again waiting for the results 😅 so one appointment really is like a week long appointment . I’m still not used to it and I’ve been diagnosed for 10 years so don’t worry you are not alone, it’s ok to still be uneasy doing these tests we’re human ❤this to shall pass hope you and your family have a lovely and peaceful day !

Hope you're catching up on some much needed sleep, Tiff! I'm on TPN permanently, I get it sent to my home and I've been taught how to set it up and hook it up to my central line (port). My digestive system is paralyzed so I can't eat. You really don't know what you have until it's gone, so everyone who is able to eat, enjoy! :) We Got This 💙

I'm on TPN at home! Are you in the UK? I was told it wasn't possible to have TPN via a port, so I had to get a hickman line. I hate the hickman, I love water and swimming which isn't possible with my line. I wish the hospital's policy allowed me to have a port then I could still swim :( I'm severely disabled, all my muscles are nearly gone, I have to use an electric wheelchair. Swimming is the only time when I can just float on my own, and not be held up by medical or mobility equipment. In the water is the only time I feel free

Hello im a new subscriber , i had a rare spinal cancer 2 years ago, and now i have triple neg breast cancer, but its caught very early from my petscan to check on my previous cancer. I love your videos and i find your personality/attitude very comforting. Im starting an agressive chemo this week and im scared like you were. Then i have surgery and radiation to follow. Just a tip: having cancer is a long journey. You loose a lot of energy thinking about not liking scans and being hungry. This is how you get PTSD, experienced it myself. Be stoic it helps.

Oh Tiffany, you are so lovely! You have been through so much on your journey and you still have such a good outlook on things. I have just discovered a lump a few days ago and have only had an ultrasound and I only hope I can have half as much optimism as you've had through everything! I have an appointment with a surgeon coming up in two weeks for a biopsy and possible mammogram and I don't know how to wait patiently without freaking out. But then I remember everything you have been through and your composure through all of the adversity and ups and downs! Girl, you are an inspiration! Hi Tiffany. Having been through many PET scans myself I totally understand the emotions and loneliness of sitting in that room. Here in the US they don’t let anyone in the room with you while you wait so it gives you a lot of time to think and ponder. At least it is over with and you can enjoy the rest of your day. You're never negative you are purely ,honest. I was diagnosed last December with breast. Cancer....very blessed as it was very early....stage 1A. Next month I have a mammogram,first one in a year and it is not easy. Will never forget the day they told me I had cancer. Pray all goes well....Tiffany I never miss an episode of yours. Dear dear Tiffany. So often you counter your incredibly normal "scared" or so-called "negative" feelings .... with "I should be grateful .... others have it worse ... I've had a break" etc. Please, allow yourself to validate those normal feelings! It's OK to cry, be sad, mad, - whatever! It doesn't mean anyone would think you aren't totally aware of things like SOME others MAY have it worse etc etc ..... you have been through more than most - I admire you, appreciate you and I hope you discover more self-compassion ..... you deserve it!!! 💙💙💙

I know what you mean about protecting your mom. My mom is almost 83 and my husband, who is 57, is dying of a neurological disease. I don’t want my mom to know the worst because I don’t want her to worry. She already had to deal with my dads Alzheimer’s for years until he died a few years ago. I hope your scan turns out well. The anxiety before scans and while waiting for results, is an ongoing thing and only dissipates with time after you start getting clear scans. For a long time, I would be unable to get out of bed for weeks before a scan due to scanxiety and depression. It reduces with time now that I've been NED for 2 years after having stage 4. Wishing you a great result as well.

I've never liked my scans either. I always flush and get so cold just like you. It's really a full time job just to deal with my health issues. I try not to let them consume me but it's so hard. I love my people so much much and I'm always super kind to everyone. I've been so fatigued and my advice is don't ignore it when you need to rest. You're doing great and we all care about you. Please don't feel quilty if you want to complain about having scans, especially ones like the a PET scan. I've had one and they're not pleasant. I was having tests and scans and procedures done constantly for a year until they finally figured out what kind of cancer I had. They can't help me, but I know they can help you. I'm glad you were able to have a break....it really helps.

I'm a forensic and clinical psychologist and I like that the series is talking about such a delicate issue, but we have to be careful because it seems to be designed to romantisize his image and life. His case is peculiar because most psychopaths come from highly problematic homes, but his only trauma was that he found out on his teenage years that his alleged sister was his real mum and his alleged mum, his grandmother. Glad PET scan is already done! We got this!! 💙💙💙

Oh Tiffany I can't believe you're watching the Dahmer series! My interest is in the psychopathy of serial killers and true crime, but whenever it gets too much (it's very heavy subject matter!) I come and watch your channel as you're always so positive even if you're feeling terrible. I could never imagine you watching this lol! I've heard that episode 6 is a bit... different... I refuse to watch it; he was evil personified. I did follow the case when he was first arrested, but the horror he inflicted on his victims was so depraved and disgusting. I just don't know how a person could do those things to another human being. I always wondered about his early childhood, Something had to have happened to him to make him so insensitive to human suffering.

Hi Tiffany, was on Emergency room yesterday and I had to have a CT Scan. I had some tummy problems. I always have done well with the contrast in the past. I went to do it and I had A bad reaction to the contrast. I never had that before. I want to Thank you for your Help because I called for you to help me get through this. I asked you to help me and with Prayer and My Friend, Tiffany I made it through. You are so strong, and loving. You are my Angel inspiration and my helper! I want to Thank You So so Much For Your Help!! We All Love 💕 you And your Wonderful Family. I wish I was as strong as you are. Don’t watch evil negative things. They will take you down and you don’t need this in your life. Cancer patients have shown to do better with happy movies cartoons etc.

No judgment here, Tiff! Heck I also enjoy true crime and mystery but, yeah this is one so disturbing. It’s an interesting story of course. I watched a few episodes but stopped. IMO it is so well done, so well acted that it brings the horror experienced by the victims to life & feels extra disturbing. I don’t want to be in that vibe either, however interesting. It does make sense that putting positive/happy images and stories into our minds will be more helpful and even healing! There are so many other fun things to watch, maybe your viewers have some inspiration for you! You’re doing so great sweetheart, even during a tough week. Hi Tiffany 👋 I had an MRI two days ago as an inpatient. It showed a huge S1 nerve compression at the base of my spine which is pressing on my spinal cord. It was causing incontinence which had suddenly started out of the blue, and I have no sensation. I have to have spinal surgery at a hospital with a spinal unit. I'm glad you got the PET scan over and done with. Lots of love 💜

Oh, I love that movie, Tiffany. I'm with you: my holiday decorating, shopping etc. is actually year-round, and speeds up the closer to December we get. My preparations are always done early. I like to enjoy the entire holiday season, which actually begins with Thanksgiving towards the end of November.
