I'm 70 years old and have been a huge fan of the Pet Shop Boys since West End Girls. They have never lost the ability to write some of the greatest tunes and lyrics in pop! Like me they are ageing but they are still so amazingly cool . . . unlike me! :-) This is SUCH a brilliant video too. I grew up with just my mom since I was 2 years old, and she loved listening to Pet Shop Boys, New Order, Cher, and just a ton of dance/house music. We discovered Darude in the parking lot of [one of] my elementary schools at the end of the day when we'd get picked up and go home; someone was listening to it in their truck as they picked up their child! This was back in ~2003, 2004-ish and we were so so geeked when we heard it haha! 😅 It was, of course, Sandstorm! We went and bought that CD as soon as we could and listened to it all the time haha. I'm so glad my mom has such great taste in music~ I don't think I'd otherwise be listening to greats like Pet Shop Boys! I'm 29 now, turning 30 in December (holy eek!!!), and this is the stuff I will always remember. Music really has such a deep impact on our lives! Thank you so much, momma, for raising me with such great music! ❤💖💗
