This version sounds like a pretty faithful glow up. I’ll gladly take all the updates they’re making to this game over 60fps. A compromise I’m willing to make.

You're telling me. This song has the vibe I imagined the original one to have. It not only retains the original instrumentation but adds so much more comfort with the strings and flute.

This is one of the best remixes we've gotten so far imo. This and hooktail are almost complete upgrades to me. Where others are good but don't complete replace the originals for me.

I'm honestly baffled at how people are panning this remake. It has many quality of life improvements, new animations for the partners, many improvements in the music, and the gameplay is as good as always been. But NOPE, none of that matters. Why? Because the game runs at 30fps and a few dialogues have been slightly altered. Give me a break.... and people wonder why I'm quitting gaming after I play this one...

Because Nostalgia is both blinding and deafening. The very moment something isn't quite like the original, primal instincts trigger and they return to monke. But seriously the human race as a whole has gotten so negative about everything it's honestly really sad. I personally love the new take. There's some songs I'll need to hear clean before I pass judgement but already there's a lot more remastered songs that I prefer in general already (this being one of them) and the fact we're getting environment sensitive battle themes is just an absolute win.

I dont think there are as many people complaining over the game as you think. Most of the time it's just a small fraction of the already small fraction of internet users who stand out. I dont have ANY social media, and i've seen nothing but high praise and excitement for the game. Your problem isn't gaming, its spending too much time in your circles online.

@@JsYTA a lot of KZbin comments say otherwise. I was listening to a comparison video of rogueports theme from Gamexplain and 70% of the comments is filled with venom over the remake version. I'm not expecting everyone to like the remake but the hate stemmed from more than that particular version and still brought up the frame rate. Then there's changed dialogue of the goombas at the start that originally cat called goombella. Infact there's a handful of videos on the topic at how Nintendo has gone "woke" over it. I stay away from social media but KZbin is my place to enjoy stuff on the game yet the comments and video recommendations from what I see is more hate than anything.

@@BlaizeTheDragon I think even those who are extremely excited over the game are going to express their disappointments in some changes yes, that's pretty normal for every game. Again, it's the small fraction of circles online you are projecting onto the rest of the world. A single channel doesn't represent the world, it's not a fraction the Nintendo community, it's not even representative of what people think on other related channels, it's just a handful of people within a much larger community. GameXplain isn't exactly the best source for insightful comments, and anyone who uses "woke" right ot left is also someone who spends too much time in their internet bubbles.

The problems is that even YT is becoming full of Venom, and most importantly, every game in existence that is not a Sony first party game is always covered with Venom by users. If this is the future of gaming, no matter how many good games will come in the future, I have no intentions to stay in such environment and risking to come to hate everything I loved throught the years, and as such, after I get this game, I'm quitting not just gaming, but the internet in general, and aside one small exception I will use it only for Duty necessities. It's simple as that. I just hope online users don't drive me crazy by the time this game comes out, it's still three weeks away from now...

For the people complaining about the remade music: The game is a REMAKE. Just use the Nostalgic Tunes badge or play the original if this bothers you🤦🏻‍♂️

Nice little edge over the original, though this is more for the fact this is a genuinely great song aside from the nostalge and meme potential of the original.
