Nice vid. It’s not that often that you see a 520 7k. Great work.

I find it fun and ridiculous when I see these videos of trash trucks with no cars, light poles, mailboxes and other trash can’s butted up. Come down to my neck of the woods and see the obstacles I have to overcome to service the cans in my area.

I got a little excited seeing such a new-looking 7000. It would be amazing if that was a Street Smart Parts 7000 arm. The route here looks absolutely stunning too.

Yeah this truck looks awesome. It’s a full rebody however

Nice find!!! Was definitely excited to see this! What an awesome truck, looks great and I love the chrome visor. Really makes me miss the 7000 design seeing this. Those neat grippers were really cool and the cart variety was awesome, especially those short little 32s. Actually like the solid blue color on this truck compared to their old colors. Good stuff as always!

Thanks bro! I was super happy to find this. Definitely agree with you about the blue too

Was super excited to see this one in my sub feed. And it certainly didn’t disappoint. Dope ass truck, awesome carts, and super scenic route made this video really enjoyable. Cool to see a 7000 on a newer chassis. The grippers give off a old school vibe too. Pretty sharp looking truck too. Do you happen to know if WC is gonna keep the Waste Control name or rebrand? Good vid!

Thanks! I’m very happy with how this one came out. Someday in the next 20 years I’ll put part 2 out lol for now they’re going to keep the WControl name, probably gonna be a murreys and lemay situation

Wait...so nobody told me McNeilus is making the 7000 arm...is that true, and if so, *how?*
@westcoastrefusetrucks4 жыл бұрын
They do make the 7000 arm yes. They make all sorts of heil replacement parts
@TheRedPanda.3 жыл бұрын
McNeilus may be a competitor with Heil, but once Heil announced they will discontinue the C frame 7000 arm, McNeilus was probably like "well there are a lot of 7000 out there, let's make replacement arms"

Awesome video! So cool to see a 7000 body on something as new as the Pete 520. Do you know if the controls were levers or rocker buttons? Also loved the variety of carts. Excellent find!
@westcoastrefusetrucks4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It looked like air controlled levers

I assume this is a re-body or will Heil still make the 7000 on request for a customer?

This is a rebody

Everyone else is saying this is a rebody, could it actually be a McNeilus 7k arm on a new durapack body? Loved to see all the El Monte and zarns around too, what cans are they buying currently? Nice video!
@westcoastrefusetrucks4 жыл бұрын
Nah this is a rebody. Currently they’re getting rehrig since WC took over
