First… and… Dope reaction as usual 😊 for your question, apparently they were about that life. One was with one of the gangs portrayed on perky blinders the other (bas, the tall one) was an underground bare knuckle boxer. Apparently they both did prison bids also but got their stuff together later and had normal jobs. Bas was a trained music teacher which lends to the dope flows and writing. Their granddaughter introduced them to drill and early on gave a hand by letting them know some of the new lingo (not ghostwriting, but kind of like “a gun is called a stick”, “a kilo is called a pack” type thing”

I would take the prison stuff with a pinch of salt 😅

@@deanosaur808 yeah, there’s what looks like a mocked up video of a prison visit. Still, I’m in my 40’s and what you might call a square but ran a bit wild in the early 00s, not hard to imagine they ran wild in the 80s-90s. Either way, even if it’s all cap I definitely can say I enjoy the music. Seems like all the rappers these days that live the life end up being murdered or in prison, so I hope they are just talking about the past or taking creative liberties.

They get mad respect in the UK. They will beef other MC's on social media 😅 They're national treasures. And they have been around some heads in their time. I grew up with men like this. They know what's, what 😉

I think the important thing about their vocal style is that they contrast and compliment each other so well that it makes them both better than they could ever be individually.

The hook is fucking fire. but Jacaranda is a purple flowered tree. In Casablanca blowin Jacaranda, is fire lol Bas slides on this one though, Pete is always good but this is a Bas banger for sure

Great reaction. As far as people testing them goes, whatever they did in the past is just that. I think that anyone trying to test them would have to worry about OTHER people. Remember Bas' line on 'Gangster S**t'? "One phone call if I wanna toe tag him."

Bass was a bare-knuckle boxer he lived with his uncle I think that did that and he had in his backyard and then he joined the military at some point and he also plays the piano Pete we know very little of but we do know that he had a chop shop but he also worked for the post office at the same time so as a post office but then you know on the side he had a chop shop I never get confused by older people cuz see when it comes to men young dogs bark old dogs bite

Old people I know have weapons too. Being that a lot of them live alone. Guns by their doors. I was a caregiver and worked in five counties. And they will use them, because they are also scared.

They are not young hoodlums running around in gangs. So the only people who might have a disagreement with them would be ex or current gangsters their age. The way they talk is how they were in their younger days. These days, if they were still up to no good, they would be calling the shots and making phonecalls, like Bas said in 'Gangster Sh*t', and working for no one. They are the main part of Sindhu World, owned by Uncle Bal. He's the bald Indian member of the crew The Snooker Team. 🐐🐐

I think privately they did had some troubles because of their lyrics. Especially after Wiley tried calling them out. They then brought out a Christmas song and toned down the violence slightly with their next few releases. then they came back hard again with sindhu sesh and gangster sh!t, but the violence wasn't directed at anyone in particular 😅 It's clear that they have real 'legal' guns and enjoy shooting, but they are no real threat to the yutes. I could be wrong though 😂

Sindhu World is actually their channel. Well... Kinda. Both pete and bas are on there, as well as some of their other older rapper friends, like Patrick Karneigh Jr. or PKJ has also dropped something on there. So in a sense it's kinda the channel for their whole crew so to speak.
@deanosaur80811 ай бұрын
Sindhu World is basically the production company. It's owned/managed by 91 shots and handsome dexter. Why they chose that name is a bit of a mystery, and I'm sure they would chose a better name in hindsight 😅

I gotta say, I don’t think the backstories about the way they were in that life are true. I think it was realer. Bas, I don’t know. He’s got the vibe of a man who’s connected and based on some of the bling (deep his rings) he IS. Same way Pete is, and I know for a FACT based on his arm ink he’s running deep with old-school dudes who could be into anything from big business to… big business. It’s some hardcore no-snitching shizz. On top of that, he was a mod back in the day, and since he’s full-on cockney he wasn’t an upscale money-boy mod. Hard mod. A crew needed someone to get the uppers, so why not him? It’d explain the level of legitimacy he gives off when he gets gangster. Were they as deep into the life as they rap about? Iunno. But no one raps pure facts. You gotta twist it to make a good song. Pump it up for swagger, or dumb it down so you don’t catch a case. Hell, I can relate to the lyrics a tiny bit, because I had a little thing going when cigarettes jumped past 7usd per pack. I was buying big bags of product, breaking it down and processing it into cigarettes, packing them up and selling to addicts for profit. I had ops who didn’t mess with my turf expect when I said, because they knew what I had been up to over less. I had a crew that had my back. I had to put a couple customers in their place because they were running their mouth around people who could have shut me down. He stakes were low, but I was still facing charges for bypassing ATF, local and state laws regarding taxes and distribution to minors. I had run-ins with the cops! Pfft, if I wasn’t white I couldn’t have gotten away with that!
