Pete Buttigieg Slams Donald Trump's Treatment of U.S. Veterans

U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg spoke out against former President Donald Trump’s attitude and past policy actions towards veterans. He also noted that Project 2025, an extremist plan created by Trump’s allies to reshape the federal government in the event of a Trump victory in November, contains proposed cuts to care for veterans.
‘Donald Trump claimed to be incapacitated by bone spurs so that he would not have to serve and let somebody go to war in his place, and that spirit continued through his presidency,’ Buttigieg said.

As far as I know, no, they generally give the test in the senior year. But they would like to move it back to the junior year. That gives them plenty of time to harass the s*** out of these kids for 2 years instead of only one. And yes if you look at page 46 of the project 2025 document, towards the bottom of the page they state that they are going to go on the offensive and assert our energy Independence... Loosely translated this means that they are going to go and take oil supplies as they see fit. To do that, they may need a lot of boots on the ground. So I would venture a guess that at some point, they reserve the right to draft people. We're talking miles deep into project 2025 if it ever got instituted in our country

I developed a severe case of shin splints in jump school but I fought on to get my wings. I had a misrouted static line and nearly lost my left arm. After 4 months and a ruptured biceps tendon. I finished jump school and ranger training. I went to become a decorated veteran who lost close friends in combat. If Pvt Trump showed up I would love to have been his platoon sergeant. He would not have lasted one day in the 82nd AIRBORNE!

Pete seems to have grown up a lot since he ran for president. His speech seems more natural and relaxed, which makes him sound a lot more authentic and thus a lot more believable. I'm glad Kamala got this version because the old one would not have been a good surrogate, but he's lowkey been killing it lately.
