If you bring in Carroll as an Assistant Coach, so much for him building a “culture” in Vegas. Let him build it as “The Man” or just keep searching. We need to get the stench out of the building. Accomplishing that in 3 years with a playoff win or two is worth it. Take this first step for that reason. A good coach will accept the job of Carroll builds that positive culture and the New GM does his job. Step by step folks.
