Have to put in a few words about Pete. His father, Don Christlieb, played bassoon in a long career with the Hollywood studios and then even with Frank Zappa. Thoroughly a West Coaster, Pete went with the Tenor and played with Quincy Jones, Warne Marsh, but probably best known (and most seen) at the center of the Tonight Show Band with Doc Severinsen in the Carson years in Burbank.

Thanks. I grew up as a teen in the 70's watching Pete play every night on the Tonight Show. That was my musical education besides listening to my Cannonball and blues albums. To any young music students take this advice: Find the best music tutor you can find even if you got to wash dishes to pay him. Play everyday and listen to Everything you can. And lastly. Believe in Yourself!!

What a joy to hear. Wonderful music from some very fine musicians who were clearly in a mood to enjoy themselves and entertain their audience. Thank you very much for posting. A video of genuine quality added an extra pleasurable dimension.
