Just goes to show that Peter Doherty does not need any high tech anyyyything to make a song sound good. To me, this is as good as any version I've ever heard...if not even more cool. The difference between someone who is born with talent versus someone who is taught to entertain...

what amazes me so much about his playing is that hes actually not even that great. his playing is simple but so spot on, on witch notes he needs to hit to make a great melody, thats just awesome. as a not-that-great guitar player myself i learn all this chord shapes and scales, and sure thats needed, but he just picks single notes from chords and makes an unice and memorable melody out of it, it impresses me everytime
