Big 3 surpassed Sampras long time ago. Not only in terms of grand slam titles but also in terms of longevity, consistency, versatility & performing day in & day out which Sampras never did. Sampras was very slam oriented player, still he struggle in A.O & being a non factor on clay in his whole career.

Sampras was GOAT in the past but it’s ridiculous to claim he’s still the GOAT today

Sampras is the Greatest of all-time, He won 14 grandslams using an outdated PS 85. He also didn't use any PEDs during his time. FEDERER NADAL AND DJOKOVIC were using CREATINE for fast recovery. Although it's permitted by the tour, it's still an *** for me. Because this was a factor for their long careers. In Sampras' era, players retire at early 30s.

How does Pete (five time US Open winner and best male player from the US) not have anything named after him at the US Open?

You’re honestly not wrong. I can easily see some stadiums and courtyards at Flushing Meadows and other important American tournaments like Cincinnati and Indian Wells being named after Pete, Agassi, Chris Evert, Althea Gibson, Pam Shriver (doubles achievements), Courier, McEnroe, Connors, etc… I mean, it’s cool that we’re honoring the past, but there are more amazing American tennis players than Arthur Ashe (who is incredible and an important historical figure who deserves to be remembered among the greats).
