@@arthurgrowler5749 Yes, I think its in my blood, as an ex-signaman,where it becomes second nature to count the number of coaches, to ensure the train is complete..I have also travelled on the previous Caley sleepers, and loaded to 16 or 17 in summer, if its locos and coaches, I can`t help it..😂.

That's an excellent video - great filming. Following the construction of this layout from the outset, it's great to see crowds coming to see it, and the attention to detail throughout is impressive but there's no people on the station platforms - seems like a big miss.

Agreed, with every other detail painstakingly in place there are no passengers in the station, in the car park, on the roads etc 😞

I think that was a deliberate decision, if you have a look at the megapoints videos chronicling the build, due to time constraints and likelihood of figures being broken off requiring repair, the decision was made to leave them off in order to get it ready and as bulletproof s possible for travel. To be honest, looking at what the team took on, it's a minor miracle they actually got it looking this detailed in the time... 🙂 The build videos are a great watch, highly recommend checking them out. @@MegaAndygo Understand that figures could be broken, hence stated that I hope they add some now its in its home for 6 weeks, especially as Mr Waterman rattles on about realism and has had a dig at people lately, you would have thought they would have added a dozen or so at least. What they've done in the time scale is unbelievable and a credit to all those involved in the build, especially Dave who's done all the carpentry and Aaron who's work on the overhead catenary is a work of art alone.

Superb modelling. Only downside, as mentioned, lack of people, and rolling stock looks straight out of the box, with no weathering!

@@Disblair got a point there! LOL. I gather the complexity was such that total detail had to be compromised due to time constraints. No weathering on rolling stock and no figures. Decent ready made people cost quit a packet these days and might have ended up all over the shop!! The cars and vans were all 3D printed and all hand painted by one guy, Chris.

@@Disblair Funny enough, I believe that the cars on the roads were only added after a day or so at the Cathedral, as some people apparently were concerned at the lack of traffic. So some cars were removed from the car parks and put onto the roads. It's true, that you can't please everyone at the same time! 🙂 🐉🙋🏼‍♀️

The scenery is brilliant but I'm not convinced by the lack of people, I notice there is a field of cows so can see no good reason for a lack of people, even if it were just a few on board trains and sitting on platform benches, as it is it looks like a ghost town, I've only been to Milton Keynes a few times but on each occasion the area of the station has been very busy

well, seems to be running alright, though not convinced with the sole 37 on both KUA and FNA-D, different traffic, different destinations, and either would have two locomotives,, Peter's realism should have picked this..?

Thought the light engine was great whizzing around the layout. There were a few other different models that never went round while I was there. Class 56 on RHTT etc

They were off the track x2 class 56’s and the water cannons. Sure they were there last year going round the layout Yes on Wednesday

@@arthurgrowler5749 Thanks. 🙂 Yes, the RHTT train was on Making Tracks 2. Wednesday was more of a testing day, and an opportunity for the core team to learn about how the MT3 layout works, as it wasn't set up in its entirety until it was erected in the Cathedral. By the Thursday, the RHTT train was either in a box, or it had gone home. I was only there for the later afternoon on Wednesday 26 July, and wasn't involved with the running. 🧙🏻🙋🏼‍♀️
