This song brings back a delicious pain in my heart, makes me go back to when I lost my first love. One of the greatest albums you'll ever listen to from beginning to end, thank you Mr. Yorn, I've bought the CD at least 5 different times from handing it out to others and wear and tear. It's such a beautiful arrangement.

This song brings me back to MY first lost love! And the misheard lyrics she wrote in a card to me - “I want to run with you through more than fields,” (instead of moorland fields). The achy irony of taking her lessons and staying with him. Yep. She did! TWENTY YEARS later, it still comes back. Love hits hard, my friend.

this record was a fucking masterpiece i mean all PY records are but man holy shit is this an all timer. i mean just listen to this tune! the perfect fusion of indie singer songwriter with pop alt-rock, there is no other song like this before or since. this record is so unique and so perfectly captures this moment in time. Still one of the coolest albums ever released and a measuring stick for how good a millennial's taste in music is. One of the truly great songs our species ever wrote.

@Jgeneraledger23 How ironic, this song sounds like it's about a guy who was with a girl who fell for another guy. In a last ditch effort his "Run" to get her back or make her feel bad about it he tells her "So take your heart, and stay with him. When you car crash comes don't be mislead.Convince yourself that everything is alright, cause it already is." In a way he is running to get his car back, the car he loves.
