Pete made a damn good point about sobriety. "I've been had." Years of -$$ and depression so the people who sell it can get rich and you can get sick. It just stops being fun and then it's time to move on. Plus, sober people get to spend their $$ on cool shit and nobody ever got a hangover from buying nice shoes or a PS5. Two of my favorite comedians just talking about how being a real grown up can make life easier and still be pretty damn fun. Nice work, Boys!

Which, by the way was just a joke, not social commentary. Different people age differently. There are lots of factors like genetics, environment and how you handle stress. I'm older than Bruce Willis, Pierce Brosnan and Michael Keaton, and they all look like my father. So what?

Hey Pete, I have a thought expanding on your comment "There's only one awareness...consciousness takes the form of a human being by constricting itself." Here's the thought: The universe, existence, god (if you will), is simply experiencing itself in all forms (individual "consciousness") via infinity. So, your consciousness is one instance of the universe experiencing itself, Kyle's consciousness is another instance, mine is another, and so on, into infinitum. Just a thought. Enjoying the discussion. Cheers!

my only issue with "yacht rock" is that I love the vibe but to even TRY and make it some niche genre you have to include shit like (as petes mentioned) james taylor which is just boring adult contemporary stuff.. The point is your entitled ass shouldn't get priority over everyone else just because the venue is large, the solution might be comics who AREN'T scumbags realizing theres no achievement point on doing huge arenas, they just end up performing to humourless dickbags that can afford front row. In a smaller venue everyone can afford a decent seat and enjoy themselves. I mean, unless you're partially blind and just bragging about not having money probs.

What you eat shouldn't define you. That is such a dumb idea...you aren't a category, you are a person. Eat meat or don't eat meat. There is no deeper meaning to either. It is simply a choice no matter how you rationalize it.
@charlesnelthorpe9252Ай бұрын
being aware that there is a range of choice a person can make in the moment is the most important bit, its not some binary thing, nobody's keeping track, just try to do "better". Militant vegans are fucked in the head, PETA was made by crazy ppl.. There's nothing on this earth a person can't turn into their own religion or drug when they spend all their time obsessing over it.
