Condolences to Jim and his family for his mother's passing. He's right, 94 and going quickly, you can't ask for much more. This is his best video yet. There's a palpable sense of renewed energy in him. He seems so energetic and happy. It's great he gets to pass on all the knowledge he has to a protégé. Keep these coming. I love that he allows himself to accept new ideas and see how they can work with his setup. Excellent.

Loved watching as everyone was having a great time! Glad to see the two of them hitting it off, like it was meant to be! LOL, true the Florida season is short but, can't wait to watch the growth showing what truly can be done when a plan is in action! Tonight is set aside to review seed catalogs for this next season. With the backyard planted out, I'm glad that I allowed some extra space to grow inside our deer fence area. Just imagining to build a food forest inside the area that was occupied by sheep, goats, and birds for the last 3 years since they moved out. It appears that I'll be heading home to Guangxi for their National Day Festival this next Autumn; after being gone just under 3 years. May everyone have a great new year holiday !

Pete I bought trees on your Black Friday sale. A moringa and a rum bay. Both were cold damaged when I received them. I contacted the correct department about the damage. Only a thin plastic bag over the boxed plants were not enough to save them even tho I added a message to insulate good. I have not heard back from your company since they suggested I give the plants time to recover. They both died and let your department know about the loss. Any thoughts on this? Love watching your informative KZbin videos

Could "too rich of soil" be attributed to too much nitrogen? So the plant just pushed more leaf and later growth to eat up all the available N.

Good to see Jim and welcome Tanner. I think it’s easier to have wider rows when the rows are not as long. It’s all about context of the garden. I see how it could be easier to step over a 30 inch row if it’s 25-50+ feet long. Happy New year to all🎉

I am a lot like Jim when it comes to how he does everything on low cost. i make my own compost, get free compost from others yard waste, i even got some free barrels that i collect water from rain in and they automatically water the gardens and greenhouses when the timer kicks on. jim helped me realize seeking out your free sources is a huge benefit.

From past videos I believe he's talking about his well water which is brackish. Which worked well for some crops but they talk about the trees getting burned. Jim's learned to work with the salt overall. Hope this helps. The C90 I'm curious about too.

For pelleted seeds in the jang are you all aware you are supposed to remove the felt lined guide plate that sits against the roller? I was having the same problem with pelleted seed before I realized that by reading instructions. It is also suggested to lift the brush when using pelleted seed.
