This guy was an amazing person who died way too early. He wrote "i still call Australia home' and Tenterfield Saddler plus alot of other hits in USA. He married Hollywood royalty Judy Garlands daughter, had the Kennedys for neighbours was gay when you kept it secret. A unbelievable beautiful person who knew je was going to die and chose to write songs til the end. ❤👍🇦🇺🏆

Yes it seems to end abruptly but at that point, Michael Parkinson introduces his next guest Sir Roden Cutler. Please enjoy the 2nd video: Peter Allen Interviewed by Michael Parkinson (Part 2), which sees Michael Parkinson asking Peter Allen more career highlights. I also found Joan Fontaine to be very entertaining.

Parky certainly did great interesting interviews. The only guest I saw rattle him was Sir Les Patterson, but it was so very funny.

He was talented . It's a shame about his lifestyle choice.

Huh? What in the hell are you talking about? You’d better not be saying his homosexuality was wrong. If so, fuck off. And I’m not homosexual but homophobia is fucking stupid. I really do hope you’re not homophobic.

@ Yes indeed. I can never understand why someone would hate another for something like their sexuality (I assume that’s what he’s talking about). How can you have someone for something that does not affect your life negatively in any way and is absolutely 0% of your business? I just don’t understand. I have plenty of homosexual friends and they’re all awesome! I wouldn’t trade them for anything! And not to mention, it’s not a choice!
