Beautiful, I wonder if Peter knew how talented he was. I love his music. I wish treatment for aids had been available back then, lost a lot of wonderful people.

The Grandson of George Woolnough, been all round the World, lives no special place. Changed his last name and married a girl with an interesting face.

I love how at ease he is with himself being interviewed -- always. And those of us watching can't help but love him and embrace him completely. To Frank Sinatra: "You changed my title -- to what? How dare you and I slapped his face!" So funny. Beautiful song.

He seemed to cut out all his gay movements. He must have been told to play it straight. A great singer and song

I don't think so, not at all. I think he is interpreting this ballad in a somber and straightforward way. He was more loose on other songs. There's no doubt he was a theatrical performer. So was Liza. So was Sinatra. So was Judy Garland and Ann Margret. Peter performed and wrote for all of them. Watch Peter Allen perform I Go To Rio on the Midnight Special. It's insanely tit and ass shaking campy gay fun! Peter Allen had the most beautiful life partner. A gorgeous man who died of AIDS in 1984 - 8 years before Peter died. When Peter performed Once Before I Go - he was always singing it for Gregory Connell. It might be his most beautiful song.
