I'm glad Peter gave so many interviews. This is another good one. He tells the best stories. I miss him.

I love Bogdanovich and his voice! I could listen to him talk all day!

For all his flaws, Peter was a brilliant man. He was a fascinating, captivating, interview subject. A library burned down when Peter departed. May he rest in precious, powerful peace.

He's always laid back, as far as I know. You can use his DVD commentary tracks as lullabies

Excellent interview. Thank you! Hopefully Texasville will be re-released!

Excellent--not so much an interview as an engaging, relaxed conversation. Bogdanovich is a treasure-trove of advice and anecdotes.

What a fantastic interview. Slow and thoughtful. Like a good conversation should be. Thanks for it.

Fantastic interview. They both seem to have no where to go, what a conversation.

Peter carries the standard for ascots, God Bless Him. The ascot industry had better prepare for his passing, to avert a crash.

Great interaction. Peter always delivers the goods with a knowledgeable interviewer. Charlie Rose was another good one with Peter.

Interesting about the ‘one foot in past, one foot in future’ as Orson Welles described himself in the same way (in video about filming The Trial) - that he is interested in the present and the past, but not in the future. Simpatico filmmakers, it seems! Re the Commentary stuff - it’s great after you’ve seen a movie about 10 times - then watching w/commentary is a fun enhancement.

Polly Platt was an integral part of PB’s most successful films, a brilliant production designer, and went on to be an integral part of Gracie Films, co-producing Broadcast News and a lot more - she also helped put the team together who made The Simpsons. Not an appendage.

I like this intelligent interview, but the whole time I was saying to myself ," o.k. ,lets speed it up a little!" and "and guys ,lets try to be a little more animated for goodness sake". I had no trouble to stop watching this and making sandwich and come back to finish the interview later with a caffeinated coffee....LOL.

The consensus is that Killer Joe is Friedkin's best film in decades. You didn't like it? The changes to Nickelodeon were effective imo. It works far better in B+W than it did in colour.

I'm surprised the interviewer wasn't aware of Squirrel To The Nuts. Bogo has been trying to get that off the ground for a long time. It was originally going to star John Ritter i believe. Great interview nonetheless
