Mr. Breugelman plays very nice with a good feeling for each different piece of the Orgelbüchlein! I get high while I listen to this works by JS Bach.

I first became aware of Bach’s magnificent Orgelbuchlein during the late 1970s, then played by a Simon Preston on, I believe an Australian organ and was immediately captivated by the traditional themes of the Church calendar being so perfectly embellished by Bach’s gift of ornamentation, but vehemently disliked by his Lutheran Church masters. How anyone could compose, let alone play these stupendous pieces is a miracle in its self. Here too so perfectly performed by Peter Breugelmans. Loved them all.

Ik dacht dat we in Nederland alleen heel goed konden orgelspelen, maar dat is dus niet zo. Deze Belgische organist mag er ook wezen, hoewel, voor zijn specialisatie was hij toch in Nederland en Duitsland. Deze organist kan wel tegen een kwinkslag. Knap spel hoor!
