I think personally Peter Capaldi did an amazing job as the Doctor. He could have fallen into a cliche, or made his Doctor like any previous Doctor. But, he stuck with the commodities of Doctor who and crafted his own version of the Doctor from the ground up. Its amazing and he deserves more credit than he gets. He was a wonderful Doctor and I'll forever miss him. I look forward to seeing him reprise his role in any future specials :)
