Peter Capaldi a.k.a. Dr Who meets Syrian refugees in Jordan with UNHCR

Actor, writer, director and UNHCR Supporter Peter Capaldi travelled with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, to meet Syrian families living in refugee camps and towns and cities across Jordan.
Through writing, photography, film and a unique Virtual Reality experience, Peter helped communicate some of their extraordinary stories of escape and survival and helped highlight the vital role of UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, in supporting and protecting refugees.

Wonderful man. I mean, obviously a LOT of people will recognise him as The 12th Doctor of course, but I believe it's quite a clever idea to have an iconic actor such as him to go in depth to explore this situation, visit refugee families, learn more about the camps and most importantly raise awareness since his latest acting career as the iconic Time Lord will have caught the attention of many people who need to see this serious real-world thing
