Every time I watch a video of Peter, I have to say he still has a fantastic voice and he also looks as good as he sounds. Chicago with all of their replacements will never sound as good as they did when Peter was in the band. In my opinion, Peter has done very well with his solo career and it was Chicago's loss when he left the band.

Ehh, it is all opinion but Chicago did well even after he left. I don't know why there has to be comparisons, but the argument can be had that Chicago did better than Cetera after he split. Just celebrate the music before and after and let it be.

I don't care. I was a thrash metal guy growing up. Bands like Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax, etc. But when I left the fellas and went home for the night,was trying to sing like Peter Cetera and Bill Champlin from Chicago, Joseph Williams from Toto, and Steve Perry from Journey. And after listening to these guys for years and trying to steal every vocal trick they ever pulled... I realized that I was a better network engineer than singer!

Peter doesn't like to tour, he's done with that. I just wished I would've seen him, I took it for granted that I would see him one of these days since he was touring a lot for the last 10 yrs. And face it he will never reunite with Chicago, too many yrs have gone by. If it was to happen it would've already happened at the hall of fame.
@RG-hf4et3 жыл бұрын
Peter won't tour again UNLESS it was the type of gig like David Foster & Friends where it's David's show and performers come out and each sing 3-4 songs. Everything is taken care of. No other responsibilities except for your own songs.

Unfortunately I didn't even know he was so nearby or I'd have caught a show he did in Sun Valley/Ketchum. Dang didn't finish the video before starting, yes he could definitely still sing! Do another concert in the Valley Peter!
@lamarravery40944 жыл бұрын
I was in eastern Oregon, near the Idaho border about 20 yrs ago, my friend and I were camping in the Wallowas and I told my friend how far is it to Ketchum? Let's find out where Peter Cetera lives, but we didn't want to be stalkers and respected his privacy, but I was and still am his biggest fan. I grew up on his songs on the radio in the 1980s. If I lived in Idaho, next to Ketchum, I probably would've tried to find him.
