Tip from an old man , next time put one drop of PETROL inside the intake port of engine . It will start first time every time . Flame takes oxygen away for explosion and is more difficult . Greetings from South Africa .

@@muhammadburhanali8943 yes l realize this as l have had to do battle in starting same engines in the past. Once the engine gets old it looses compression wich explodes the diesel more diffycult especially when cold. Something that also helps in old engine starting is to pour a spoon ful of engine oil into the intake manifold so as to slightly raise the compression inside wich helps to explode the diesel thus starting is more easy. I so wish l could drive around your countryside to help in solving a lot of problems through my experience in life. Best wishes from South Africa.

As your economy grows I hope you do not simply cast these old engines aside. With the electrification of America in the 40s, those old Kerosene hit & miss engines were mostly forgotten where they stood or cast aside. Those that were diligently preserved will run for another half century straight given the right conditions. Best wishes from US

the motor seems tired , with probably low compression , although when started runs good and it does a great work ,, may be valve seats and valve adjustment will bring it to back to good health !! great job flooding the field !!

Eita! Já sofri muitas vezes para fazer funcionar um velho motor Petter diesel de 6 HP, que tocava um gerador de energia elétrica, quando eu morava na roça. Com ele frio, só pegava com um "cheiro" (um pouquinho de gasolina), que colocava no tubo de admissão de ar. Depois que o motor aquecia, funcionava bem.

Anyone that doesn't like this vid should try moving the same amount of water by hand with buckets or gourds...Once one of these pumps get rolling it is easy ! Ask yourself how much water you've actually carried in your life compared to people in the past or people in remote areas.

That diesel engine need to bleed to run good. There is air in the injection pump, thats why its hard to start, try to bleed the injection pump release all air in the injection pump. Then the engine will start good...

Start the pump without the belt on . Let it run for a minute to warm up, shut it off and install the belt. Since the motor is warm it will start right up.

What did i learn: The cresent wrench can be used as a wrench, hammer and fire pliers ( et al ). The water IS clean enough to drink ( IF you've been drinking it your whole life ). And Relearned how useful fire is, especially for getting a recalcitrant diesel to life . . .

Put some starting fluid in it or replace the rings you mite be getting to much oil in gas and it’s making fuel not as flammable or you need to rebuild the carburetor the floats are most likely stuck or your choke is stuck wich I have a few motors with carburetor problems so I just take them apart and sometimes I’ll submerge in a tub of gas or carb cleaner that always works for me some times I also use parts cleaner
