I read a lovely story Pete told about Katia, 7 or so years ago Katia was work on a photo or film shoot in prais and Pete was in paris he was all washed up in a bad way, with no where to stay and no transport, Katia came out from the shoot met Pete and gave him her car keys and front door key to her home. Thats the sign of a true friend and someone that cares and loves you.

Oh man, I really want to like the wife but this is uncomfortable to watch. Maybe they were just having an off day but they don't seem compatible or to mesh together. The way he has to say "I'm trying to be nice" and they're only in the introduction portion of the interview. Yikes!! I know a couple like this and it's so uncomfortable and tense to be with them cause it's always a series of little misunderstandings in a span of one conversation. It's awkward. It's obvious the press junket set this up for them to interview each other in a casual manner whether they alternate reading or not, and yet she's concerned with what question should be read by whom or which one of them should answer the question - why not both of you answer? I could see it as playful and cheeky if she said it once but she continues to bring it up throughout the whole thing - "it's MY turn" I don't know why that doesn't sit right with me, but it just doesn't. The question "what's the aim of the film" can be answered by both since Pete was obviously involved in the creativity of something that spans a decade of his life. He's always done 8 mm films and just an overall visual and performance artist so why wouldn't he answer that question but she's like - "that's a question for me cause it's too difficult for you." Ummm... okay. And he answers it anyway despite her saying it's her question and too hard for him. LOL Then his face when she says "can I read it" and gets the question from him... Hahaha. It seems like he's even tiresome of her trying to direct which question goes to whom. BUT he must love it cause he chose to marry her so I fully understand that this is his ideal relationship type and is none of my damn business. Constant Little misunderstandings in conversation with your partner could be exciting for him for all I know. I guess I created an assumption that a romantic poet like him would have a very romance infused partnership, but that's not reality, is it?

I sort of agree with all this. The moment at 3:14 she says - "my turn again.. isn't it me? you should answer some questions".and then there's a back and forth over who's question it should be - that moment is uncomfortable to watch. For some reason I view it as - translation: "I'm getting all the attention here? shouldn't you get some attention too." Which is a weird thing for her to bring up cause that's not even happening, only happening in her head. Bizarre. I'm glad he answered the question anyway even after she condescendingly says it's too difficult for him to answer. I also read somewhere - maybe his book or an interview article that he said he went into a deep depression after he got clean from hard drugs and Katia's response to him stating that was "Well that doesn't make me look very good now does it?" And that always stayed with me. Like the depression has nothing to do with how happy you can make your husband it has to do with the after effects of abusing the body, but she was only concerned with how people would view her cause he was in a state of depression and how does that reflect on her. I always thought it was a bit narcissistic of her and also just a complete lack of understanding of addiction and recovery

Kate moss is not on the same level as Peter, two very different beings, Katia is seems very lovely, Peter looks and sounds stable in his mind and body, he gained a little weight, but that's normal. Very normal. Heroin gives you a little although it feels like it the most important thing in your life, until you take the step into really quitting use, whether by methadone, or buprenorphine, or the old way, cold turkey.
