It's difficult to watch someone in the grips of addiction, having myself felt and still feeling the strength of that grip! Without the drugs, his music and poetry would most likely be vastly different. Kind of like a sliding doors type situation. I like to believe all paths lead to a purposeful outcome and it's great to see him nowadays, still on medication to curb those cravings for drugs, but hopefully in a place where he can eventually close the door on those demons for good. Love ya Pete! 👊

Addiction is an awful condition and im glad he seems to be over that these days, but as to what people see in him as a musician god only knows , middle of the week jam night at a back street boozer slurring off key lyrics on an out of tune acoustic at best . Its a funny old world.

As an ex herion addict I can tell you I would do anything to avoid the police as my worst nightmare would be withdrawing from herion in a police cell.
