Thanks for watching! I need to record some more of these, if there is anyone in particular you'd like me to check out ten photos from please let me know. In February I am heading off to the Daintree for a couple of weeks. When I get back I want to start doing more viewer critiques, so stay tuned if you'd like some feedback on your own photographs!

This inspired me to go to Tasmania. Just did a 2 week photography trip and had a BLAST. I will be leaving a part of my heart here when I leave for home ❤

Thanks David! I feel like my language is only getting worse without live panel judging! Not that I can complain too much with the last couple of years of IRIS.

Hi Matt, loving this doco. My grandmother was a Dombrovskis so these resonate in an extra special way. Loving this special!

This was very interesting, as the lighting was often contrary to what we "learn" today. Like that our eyes are drawn to the brightest parts of the image - but in these images it is often the *dark* parts that draw the attention (like with the myrtle tree image)! Or having lighting situations that "most of us" would not consider to be good for landscape photography.

Thanks Christian, Yes the Myrtle Tree is one of my favourites for sure and a great example of using contrast to direct the eye. The control he had using film was exceptional!
