Hey India I was at that concert..! He came to The Oakland Coliseum back in the mid 70's when he was on top..! He did a Day on the Green in 1976 and 1977 which I went to both years... I grew up about 2 miles from the stadium in Alameda and went to a lot of concerts there. The Day on the Green series were in the Summers and lasted All Day from 10am to about 6-7 pm on Saturdays that had about 5 bands during the day..! Both times he came for a Day on the Green he was the Headliner and preformed last..! If I remember correctly Fleetwood Mac had the stage right before Frampton... And I believe Status Quo open the day, in fact i believe that day was billed as the British Are Coming because they were all English Bands..! Great Shows back in the day..!! Love your reactions..!!
