I saw him in 2001 in Clinton, Iowa. What a hell of a show he put on! Saw him last year on his farewell tour in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Again, fantastic show, one of the greats. Missed Bob Mayo in 19. Saw him 01. RIP Bob.

i can't (or can't) get enough of this performance. i've shared it, too. read peter's new autobiography and enjoyed it. when i heard him playing those jazz runs within rock solos many years ago, i felt there was a lot of potential magic there, and in this performance (and many others) the magic is realized. but it would be nicer if the audio was better-synched with the picture.
