My worst yet favorite memories of frampton comes alive was during the blizzard of 76/77. I drove nonstop from Hickory N.C. to oklahoma. Heater in my car broke in the smokie mtns. I wrapped up in a blanket and drove sometimes only able to go 15 mph. Smoking my bong, drinking TJ Swann wine and listened to this song over and over all the way. I was 17 and had a fight with my dad in Hickory. Went to stay with my grandma in okie land. Peter Frampton was along for the ride 😂 😂 😂

OMG- TJ Swan! The sickest I’ve ever been was a night of too much TJ, never enuff Frampton and all the Stacy with a ‘Y’ that I could muster in the back seat of a ‘75 Gran Torino on a Coquina Beach night, Florida ‘77.

After what you described (or confessed to) you were fortunate not to kill yourself or others. I submit you had someone else besides Peter Frampton riding with you.

@@mjc11a pot back then was nowhere near as potent as this crap today and it was just me and Frampton. I confess nothing. Just stating facts. Obviously , no harm, no foul. Hard to have a wreck on an almost empty interstate where your top speed was 20 mph due to ice and snow. Get over it.

Frampton Comes Alive was one of the greatest live albums to ever be produced. Peter Frampton 'popped' from mid-level audiences to selling out 60,000 seat stadiums after this album hit. I think Peter Frampton is an amazing guitarist/performer and he is in my top 3 all-time favorite Rock Stars. He may have become a much bigger star if it had not been for the upcoming competition. Around that same time "Hotel California" album dropped. The Eagles went on to have the greatest selling album of the 20th century(Greatest Hits). 1978 introduced us to Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth. It literally took those TWO people to usurp Frampton's stardom. Let's not forget that "Dark Side of the Moon" also arrived around this time. Frampton, like Clapton or Hendrix or Stevie Ray, was the complete package. Love you, Peter!

I saw Peter Frampton live at the Los Angeles Coliseum when I was a teenager. I had a good seat, way on the side, probably 50 or more rows from the stage. But, at least I could see him. What I remember most is how kind he was. There were people who bought tickets that were behind the stage, so all that they could see was the back of the performers. Diehard fans. I felt so sorry for them. Then, Peter turned around and played to them specifically. The whole crowd went wild for his compassion. I'll never forget that. It just made him that much more amazing.

Look at that massive set of keys he’s playing, a hyped up organ and that was it, the great sounds. Half of them use laptops now, those types need to be slapped. Play a real instrument if you want to make music is what I say to that. I forgot about this song. Had a crush on Peter. That was 100 years ago. Doesn’t doesn’t look like I remembered. He did have great hair. He still looks good now for a now, for an old guy! Where was he born? iTunes has nothing in him. Usually they don’t have info about newer artists or not well known ones. He’s a classic, what’s up with that anyway? He had fun using that thing to make sounds. Was watching him sing I want you and doing that before this. Pretty cool to watch.

Original version of "Do You Feel Like We Do" released in 1973 on the album "Frampton's Camel." The well-known and long version, with talkbox, of this song was first released in 1976 on "Frampton Comes Alive!" - the performance was taped and recorded at SUNY (State University of New York) November 22, 1975. However, this version, at 14 minutes on the LP, was halved for single release.
