When i was on twitter cpl of years ago duane eddy actually followed me for bout 2 weeks, i think it was because i had a lot of rockabilly content on my page, he probably realised i was a nobody then oroceeded to unfollow, but i did actually speak to him on there,slim jim too,he was still following when i deleted my account, he was a really nice bloke to chat too, not stuck up like many stars are.

I think Duane Eddy said that he didn't want to record Peter Gunn because "there wasn't much for the guitar to do but play that same riff over and over." But it was a great saxaphone tune, and he went ahead -- Steve Douglas I think. Since then every sax player dreams of doing a fabulous solo with Duane Eddy backing them. I also agree with comment about Poison Ivy's version. Ray Anthony's orchestral cover was smooth, Duane turned it into bluesy rock, and Ivy made it "mean".

When I changed my bridge to a true arc I noticed a lot sympathetic harmonics behind the bridge, I solved the issue by using rubber grommets. They will kill the unwanted harmonics, also if used in front of the bridge they will produce a rubber bridge sound.
