We all know who Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Fernando Alonso and the rest of the F1 gang are, but in my opinion, the Isle of Man TT riders are the ultimate motorsports heroes! There is simply nothing that can compare to the TT!!!! The incredible danger, the astonishing bravery, the concentration, and the fact that these riders have to negotiate 37,73 miles to complete ONE lap! Hicky, you and your fellow competitors are in my eyes are the true icons of the world of motorsports. It would be a lifetime highlight and honour to one day get to meet and have a conversation with Hicky, or any other TT legend!

I'm a Bradford lad and my tribe are all mad Dean Harrison fans, and Ian Hutchinson fans, but Ive always had a soft spot for Peter Hickman. Peter caught my attention early.on in his racing career, purely on account of him being very tall for a racer, and I was always impressed how he managed to manhandle bikes around circuits. The TT was a natural progression I reckon, because some riders just stand out as being TT material, and Hicky fit the bill from early on. It's been a pleasure to witness your career play out Peter, and I sincerely hope to see you continue to shine so brightly for.msny, many years to come. racing is our football, and the TT is our FA Cup final. They're probably members of Max Verstappen's family who are fed up of being shown Isle of Man TT clips every time they justify having no F1 salary pay caps on the basis of how F1 drivers "risk their lives".

WOW!!! Seeing this is so awesome and mind blowing. But what’s really crazy is that he does this for 37.6 miles and does it 6 times around that’s absolutely incredible, crazy and insane. The shape you have to be in and the Concentration you have to have is so amazing. The skill and the ability to ride like this is truly unbelievable. Theses guys are so incredible in so many ways.

I show this video to everyone that comes over so I've seen it more than I can even tell you. Yet still every time I watch this and the glare of the sun is in his face it makes my B-hole pucker. Not at full race speed!! LOL I love it. IOMtt best race in the world hands down.

bikers guardian angels are hanging on for dear life and giggling along with the rider, same with thier demons, all balancing on the same occams razor. As an ex motorcycle courier who had to while at lot slower speeds filter through traffic and estimate distances between gaps at sometimes higher than normal speeds to get a package there, ontime or ahead of time, you feel them giggling even there, both sides of the coin.

There's parts under braking where you can hear what sounds like an exhaust/engine brake. Absolutely insane. You really do have to have balls of titanium to do this. I'm always game to chuck a car around but bikes......whole different ball game. Not to mention having to have memorised the entire, nearly 38 mile course. Every corner, every crest and bump and change of surface....the list is endless. Truly a feat and ultra impressive. I can only applaud. 👏

Incredible lap by Hicky ! Surely it must be close to the limit as to how fast you can get round the TT course and UGP on two wheels with an internal combustion engine. Can technology get that much better than it is today ? Although tbf they said the same thing as me, when Joey did a 120 mph lap on the V4 Honda. lol

That was breathtaking. I'm almost exhausted from watching that. To think this is not full race speed is absoluely shocking and terrifying. Thank you for *NOT* using a wide angle lens; I simply cannot understand why so many car and bike vids insist on using those pointless lenses which do nothing but distort the image and give a false sense of speed. Excellent sound balance as well. The IoM TT always struck me as an apex mind-body experience. This video is total proof of the staggering abilities of most supersport motorcycles and that if you've bought yourself one and you *don't* take it on the track regularly, you're not getting the best out of your wallet unless you believe that "bragging rights" are good value. The engine and suspension components on these sorts of bikes don't really undergo any serious duress until you're taking bends at speeds well above 60-70 mph. A '98 R1 could do 0-100 mph in well under 6 seconds! It's like having an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak; looks utterly sensational but the time is still just eleven o'clock! However, I guess there's something deeply satisfying about living in a world of such gloriously indugent excess.

Phenomenal video. I once paid for a ride in a Mercedes touring car on a track driven by a pro driver. The feeling of speed was insane, but what astounded me the most was how late he braked going into the corners. A bike has more engine braking maybe but as scary as this video is I didn’t get that massive braking feeling and the power delivery seems very smooth. I guess Hicky is an ultimate pro. Loved it mate.
