We all know who Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Fernando Alonso and the rest of the F1 gang are, but in my opinion, the Isle of Man TT riders are the ultimate motorsports heroes! There is simply nothing that can compare to the TT!!!! The incredible danger, the astonishing bravery, the concentration, and the fact that these riders have to negotiate 37,73 miles to complete ONE lap! Hicky, you and your fellow competitors are in my eyes are the true icons of the world of motorsports. It would be a lifetime highlight and honour to one day get to meet and have a conversation with Hicky, or any other TT legend!

The TT was a natural progression I reckon, because some riders just stand out as being TT material, and Hicky fit the bill from early on. It's been a pleasure to witness your career play out Peter, and I sincerely hope to see you continue to shine so brightly for.msny, many years to come. racing is our football, and the TT is our FA Cup final. Is this just muscle memory?! Blinded by the sun just hitting these unbelievable corners, wheelies and lines. You are a god.

That front tyre must do half the mileage the rear one does ! Absolutely awesome !

My first TT this year. Watching them from Sulby Straight flying past, just feet away was one probably the most amazing thing I've ever seen. I'll be back for more next year.

Are you immortal? I've seen this lap hundred times but still cannot realize how it is possible. Man 100% you are not a human.

Incredible lap by Hicky ! Surely it must be close to the limit as to how fast you can get round the TT course and UGP on two wheels with an internal combustion engine. Can technology get that much better than it is today ? Although tbf they said the same thing as me, when Joey did a 120 mph lap on the V4 Honda. lol

That was breathtaking. I'm almost exhausted from watching that. To think this is not full race speed is absoluely shocking and terrifying. Thank you for *NOT* using a wide angle lens; I simply cannot understand why so many car and bike vids insist on using those pointless lenses which do nothing but distort the image and give a false sense of speed. Excellent sound balance as well. The IoM TT always struck me as an apex mind-body experience. This video is total proof of the staggering abilities of most supersport motorcycles and that if you've bought yourself one and you *don't* take it on the track regularly, you're not getting the best out of your wallet unless you believe that "bragging rights" are good value. The engine and suspension components on these sorts of bikes don't really undergo any serious duress until you're taking bends at speeds well above 60-70 mph. A '98 R1 could do 0-100 mph in well under 6 seconds! It's like having an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak; looks utterly sensational but the time is still just eleven o'clock! However, I guess there's something deeply satisfying about living in a world of such gloriously indugent excess.

Love how it says "slow" on the road sometimes :-)

Red lining in 6th at 11:40 was ridiculous. Anyone who is involved in the races at the IOMTT has my admiration due to the skill, stamina, concentration and dedication it must take.

Phenomenal video. I once paid for a ride in a Mercedes touring car on a track driven by a pro driver. The feeling of speed was insane, but what astounded me the most was how late he braked going into the corners. A bike has more engine braking maybe but as scary as this video is I didn’t get that massive braking feeling and the power delivery seems very smooth. I guess Hicky is an ultimate pro. Loved it mate.
