I was there, right in the front row. Hooky may not be the best singer, he may be incapable of singing and playing at the same time, but he is the spirit and essence of New Order/JD, he delivers the best songs, he knows what the audience wants and I think his sets are just fabulous.

I think Hooky IS a good singer, better all the time really. And I agree wholeheartedly that his sets are fabulous. His energy and enthusiasm are unparalleled and his unstoppable spirt makes my spirit soar! Hope to meet you in the front row one day!

Amazing day ... amazing crowd .. and I was sober on the Saturday! Made up for it on sunday though lol. My 5 year old son loved Peter Hook, highlight of his day.

Hook's band actually sound like the New Order of yesteryear.....very raw, emotive, error prone, bass driven.....what is currently touring the world as New Order is a fucking abomination,

I saw him twice. Joy Division songs are great , but he uses more “playback “ in New Order songs than the proper New Order.

This says New Order which is still performing...I know you have legal rights to play the music, but it's sad that you need to use what is now their name bc you left...you, Peter should not be singing it's not good, rins the song. So The question begs, did you hate Bernard bc he was no IAN, OR, BC you were jealous and wanted to be lead vocals, after Ian passed?? Hooky is the heart of new order 100%. Really want to see the light but they never come south. Saw new order this year and they were great but the lack of hooky took a huge part of the performance which was present in previous performances
