Peter Jackson confirmed that there were some parts of the game that didn't make it into the movie such as the Alternate ending in which would've been a happy ending but they chose to make it a sad one so they moved those ideas into the game instead.

okay when it's based in the original one where Kong always dies but in my third alternate one I still make Kong the hero when the scene was based on Jurassic Park when Carl choose to bring the vastosaurus Rex to New York too as part of his second Main Attraction.but instead the vastosaurus also breaks loose after seeing the cameras which allows Kong to escape by accident or mistake or on purpose. Then the vastosaurus start s wreaking havoc and chasing after darrows but Kong still saves the day and used these taxi cabs to throw it at vastosaurus. after that come defeated the monster and then he returns back to skull island.

What?! I never knew this, the alternative ending would have been a brilliant scene to put in the extended version or even in the bonus features. 1954 Godzilla was big compared to Kong 1933. But if they had made Godzilla & Kong the competitive size scale as the beast from 20,000 fathoms (Also one of the inspirations for Godzilla) Kong probably would've killed Godzilla in an instant by breaking his jaws open like he does with the rexes because Godzilla is almost the equivalent of a t rex if they had chose to make him the size as Kong. Great thing they hadn't. Godzilla would be weak & wimpy. With small arms. But he never will be because he's tall & strong. He never loses. Kong is also intensively strong too. He wrecked & smashed those T rexes in like a boulder over a cave entry. When it comes to Kong don't get in his way. But Godzilla? He's got some skills too. Time to time they intend to make both of them smaller, large any size scale. 1962 King Kong was approximately the same height as Godzilla because they figured the original Kong from 1933 was not big enough because of.. height scales. I wish King Kong vs Frankenstein could've been a thing but I can say Godzilla vs King Kong was the excessive film to be created in the hopes of great photography & film history to ever come out from Toho. & legendary pictures. The remake was bland & a little short. The original was great because it was a lot more screen time & story telling then the new one is. I like the movements on the original than in the new because they move way too slow. More fighting is involved with the old one then the new one.

I know I’m pretty late but I didn’t even know you had to replay everything and getting a good enough score to get this ending! I remember picking up a book at my schools book fair with cheat codes for a bunch of different games spanning all the systems that were out at the time (ah, the good ol days) and I was surprised to find this game had a code to unlock this ending! I was so happy to save Kong, and that book became my best friend on many a play through lol. Geez, this game and remember that book and the book fairs really took me back, simpler times, dare I say better times. Now with the internet, you can look up the codes to be able to play this level if you have a system that can still run it. My Xbox one S (not series S) can still run the Xbox 360 port no problem but I’m sure you can find a pc rom to this game as well!

I've only been able to get to where you're supposed to burn a bush where the long neck dinosaurs were crossing and your crew is like okay go by yourself and get some fire now and I'm like bitch you go by yourself fuc u lol this is definitely one of the few games I've ever played where I am too scared to play when I was like 12.
