Peter Jennings Pot of Gold (3-7-1997)

1997 marijuana documentary produced & narrated by Peter Jennings. In some ways, we've come so far (I live in Colorado, where "recreational use" is now legal), and CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta has come out in broad support, claiming we've been "lied to" by anti-marijuana forces. In other ways, not so much - there is still mandatory federal sentencing of up to one year in prison, and hundreds of thousands every year are arrested for simple possession.

I remember watching this the night it first aired. So Awesome how far things have come. Although I will say there is something nostalgic about this video and the old days. Happy I found this again

Went from being able to get arrested and spend years in jail/prison for a roach left in the ashtray in the 90's to now there's 5 recreational weed shops on every block and u can grow multiple plants urself in full view of cops. I have said it should be legal for the last 30 years and still almost cant believe how far we have come sometimes. Alcohol is 100 times worse.
