The only thing is, you had a team obligation. So show up for the team and then bail on band if it's not your thing. What do you teach your kids in real life? I'm all for being true to your feelings and desires. Don't like the instrument you play? Find one you do like. Don't play one if it's not your love.

Like he couldn't wait until the day after the concert to quit band? At another point in this interview he talks about how important it is to be professional and not bring the team down to make a point. But here it's like he thinks it's a badass move to leave your teammates in the lurch just because you feel like it. You have to honor commitments. If you want to quit band, quit. But don't kneecap your friends just to make a dramatic exit.
