So important to remember other people have "dancy issues." And if you don't dance, because you're letting other people define you by their judgment, you're gonna end-up golfing. Put down the 9-iron. Get in the dance circle. Maybe you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Maybe. But I prefer to see it like there's always a 2nd chance to cut loose. Thanks, Neil. Thanks, Sam.

My mother couldn't sing a lick, but she always sung out. I asked her why one time. She said,"Well, someday I will sing in Heaven so I might as well do it now". She is there now and I know she sings.

already ditched that. I never learned professionally dancing and yet I dance every chance I get. And I'm quite good at it. Here's my advice: if you don't know how to dance, just move in the rhythm of the song and do some everyday things, window wiping, cooking, driving, even ging to the toilet, being a miner in the gold rush, being a Russian everything, just move

I am surprised his biggest regret is not yelling at Octavia Spencer, "No snacks! Is your bladder full?" during the 2015 Oscars. He did ruin her whole Oscar experience just to save his own ego.

I just finished my professional career as a dancer because I broke my knee at the rehearsal. I'm only 19. I had the world's possibilities at my fingertips but now it's gone and I do not know what to do next ...

Look. I don't want to be disrespectful, but I have a feeling some of this might antagonize you. Profession is about being useful. How much value you can add to community or corporation by serving it. The key word here is to *serve*. It's not sexy, because essentially it means it's not about you. Serving is about other people. I don't know anything about the world of dancing, but it seems that the motivation behind being a dancer doesn't come from serving others. Sure, you might argue that it's about making people happy at theaters, but I don't believe that for a second. You can objectively add more to world's happiness by throwing oreos at strangers. Dancing is about you, not about others. So, take all the professions that are necessary and valuable and need people to know their stuff, like nurses helping the elderly with their bowels. Or people who deal with sewage processing. Or have to fix railroads in the winter at 3: am, because if they don't the trains don't run. Take all those professions, put them in a line, and say with a straight face: 'no. I want to dance instead. You can do all the boring stuff -- I only want to do what is fun to me". Because that's essentially what you were doing as a dancer. Not on a conscious level of course, but that's what professional choices are about. So being that young, I would try to think ways how to make myself valuable. Going to college, learn a profession you can tie in with dancing. Teaching kids to dance you can help give joy and meaning to their lives.

+WirelessBrain10 The answer is obvious, you have to go train at a secret facility hidden deep in the lands Mother Russia to learn the art of espionage and seduction, then go work for the government, retrieving crucial intel from all around the world. What are you waiting for?

I can't imagine losing something that brought so much passion to my life, but I can only advise that you find something equally passion filled. If it didn't strike envy, I'd suggest teaching dance. Just don't let your inability to go on the stage keep you away from it. You may not be in the spot light anymore, but you can still fuel the minds of those in it, which is just as important. Don't let happenstance keep you down.

I always dance like an idiot and to be quite honest: most men think it's sexy and most sexy women don't get it, which is double the fun.
