these kites are horrible, too many sacrifices from a regular foil with cells.

I disagree, they're good fun. I bought a 2.5 TR with bar for days on the beach with friends. They don't have much flying experience and I just love that I can let them fly and not have to worry about crashes and such.. I once went flying with a buddy and a foil.. first thing he did was fly it straight up and then straight down.. popped open the back and we were done. No such risk with these. I'd say they're the perfect beginner/trainer kite.
