The fact that this was the first Spider-Man movie to not make the romance happen in the first movie was actually quite surprising. MJ and Peter barely had any scenes together, but the movie was hinting that MJ might like Peter. I mean, what's with her constantly staring at Peter from time to time? When they were on the bus to go to Washington, when Peter left detention, and even after she asked him what his secret was. The story didn't make the iconic love story where Peter likes the girl he ends up with, since the movie showed that Peter liked Liz, who was quite popular, but it didn't work out for them. MJ, on the other hand, is kinda introverted, sassy, and a bit mean (but I love her for it). So the love story happening in this reboot is not about Peter liking the popular girl, but instead, the introverted girl liked Peter. I shipped these two since I saw the trailer actually, and hoped that they'd get together in the movie, and I thought my hope was lost, until Liz had left. Trust me, I'm sad that Liz left, but it gave an opportunity for MJ and Peter. Hopefully, the hints that were given in the movie, including Michelle admitting that she could be called MJ, will give room to their romance in the next film. Hopefully it's an MJ and Peter love story, and Gwen could still be there, but MJ and Peter would still be together.

Considering Spiderman 2 is supposed to be Peter on a trip to Europe and his classmates are also in it, my hope is that they go on a school trip to London and Gwen is a student helper that flirts with Peter and causes Michelle to be jealous and leads to her admitting her feelings. I think it can be done and still leave enough time for the big plot of the movie! I really hope they continue building on Peter and MJ. They can be the next Tony and Pepper.

UGh I'm back here once again. I remember stumbling upon it after first Spider-Man came out, and oh man I was soooo obsessed with them at the moment, and Tom and Zendaya's numerous interactions didn't help it too. I remember thinking about how their relationships would progress in the second movie, and waiting for the kiss scene. I'm just so sorry I couldn't write a comment earlier, but it's just that I watched it after 2 years of first discovering this video, and oh my! NOSTALGIA hit me hard lol. So I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate all the time and effort you put into editing it... And the song choice? Holy shit, it complemented the overall theme of the video so much (DON'T WE ALL LOVE ED???) Props to you for using so many scenes and shots from different movies to create a new story of your own!
